VolunteerNetwork involved working in a team of 5, implementing a MERN stack web application that provides a portal for both the volunteers and the organizations to easily manage the events.
I mainly focused on the backend including the database model design, controllers and routes setup, but also worked on the frontend UI and creating service to fetch REST API correctly. Try it yourself!

ActivityMate

ActivityMate is a group project, worked with a team of 4 classmates, to build an web-application to help the customers find activities in the major cities in North America, based upon the selection of time, price, and theme. Google API's and OpenWeather API were used to build the major features.

Toxic-Comments Evaluator

Toxic-Comments Evaluator was built in Python, using the libraries like PyTorch, to use Machine Learning mechanism to identify how harmful a comment text is. It successfully achieved the anticipated accuracy goals, and was presented at BC Artificial Intelligence Student Showcase to 85 guests from 50 different organizations.

GiftMind

GiftMind is an online web application for giftcard management. The clients(users) can create a new giftcard for their customers, add or remove the balance, and delete the giftcard. Unique giftcard codes are automatically assigned for each generated giftcard.
